The sketchbook exhibition called 'Draft', planned to open at Art Rooms on February 29, 2024, exhibits the smallest and most private working spaces that reflect the developmental stages of many artists' ways of thinking. Notebooks, the portable workshop of almost all creative works that consist of notes written on a piece of paper, have provided a space for generations to mature the most significant works and narratives of our time. Examining the artist's notes and drawings is like witnessing the intimate moments and areas of the artist's creative process. The formation and structure of sketchbooks reflect the mind of the artist and the transformations his soul undergoes during the creation phase. In a sense, it makes the projections of the subconscious visible. These notebooks say a lot about the ups and downs the artist experienced and his approach to art, his works and creativity, rather than the completed work.

​29 Åžubat 2024’te Art Rooms’da açılması planlanan ‘Draft’ isimli eskiz defteri sergisiyle, birçok sanatçının düÅŸünce biçimlerinin geliÅŸim evrelerini yansıtan en küçük ve en özel çalışma alanları sergileniyor. Neredeyse tüm yaratıcı çalışmaların taşınabilir atölyesi olan ve bir kağıt parçası üzerine düÅŸülen notlardan oluÅŸan defterler, nesiller boyunca zamanımızın en büyük eserlerinin ve anlatılarının olgunlaÅŸması için bir alan saÄŸlamıştır. Sanatçının notlarına, çizimlerine bakmak onları incelemek sanatçının yaratım sürecinin mahrem anlarına ve alanlarına tanıklık etmek gibidir. Eskiz defterlerinin oluÅŸumu ve yapısı sanatçının zihnini, yaratım evresinde ruhunun geçirdiÄŸi dönüÅŸümleri yansıtır. Bir anlamda bilinçaltının izdüÅŸümlerini görünür kılar. Bu defterler, eserin tamamlanmış halinden çok sanatçının yaÅŸadığı iniÅŸ çıkışlar ve sanata, eserlerine ve yaratıcılığa yaklaşımı hakkında da fazlasıyla ÅŸeyler söylüyor.
